Third time’s a charm – 2057hrs

Okay, guess I’m good enough at LA traffic now… slid right into our 90 in Compton, CA without a problem.. traffic was light (by LA standards, only three parking lots to deal with on I10), and dropped our trailer at FedEx without incident.  Gate Guard says there are no MTY’s available, but if we want to wait until 0030 – 0100, the one we just brought in will be cleared out by the morning shift (no one works Sunday nights).  So we’re sitting right outside the gate, waiting to go get our trailer once it emptied and head to Exeter, CA for a load going to Ohio… Except we won’t be going that far with it, we’ll take it to the yard in Springfield where I’ll step off the truck and get hooked up with my new team driver.  Spoke with him on the phone some today, and as much as you can tell by a quick phone call, he seems like a decent guy.  Dunno… I’m gonna find out one way or the other!

By the way, before I forget again, I told him I would mention this…

The one and only, the venerable, Charles the instructor and mighty trainer of CDL students, actually STALLED his truck yesterday!!  I laughed my ass off and told him I’d post it for the world to see… so I’m NOT the only one to stall this thing!

(Oh and I’ll be nice and NOT mention the new yellow stripes on the passenger-side front bumper!!  ROFLMAO)

That’s it for now… gonna bunk down for a while until the trailers’ ready…
