It’s TIME!!!!
Well, as of 10am yesterday I am technically unemployed… This morning I pack and finish off the last minute details… 5pm tonight I roll out of Portland,ME south-bound for Springfield! More to come once I’m on the bus tonight. I’ll try to blog along the trip, and hopefully post a few pics tomorrow along the way!
Good luck joe,the bus ride will probably be the hardest stamina test.If you survive that then you can probably deal with anything.Just keep your head on your shoulders,(unlike that guy up in canada a couple weeks ago)when you change busses in NYC keep an eye on your shit,People willtry to show you where your terminal is for money,there ok,people will try to bum cigs off you too cause there about 9 bucks a pack in the city.and one more word of advice,DONT SIT NEAR THE TOILET at the back of the bus!If its full,you will gag all the way to springfield!HAPPY MOTORING!!!!!! Hey Joe,Just read your latest report and glad to know you made it ok,aint that NYC a mindfuck?Especially for us hayseeds from northern new england.Saw your dad and charlotte last night at mom & dads labor day bbq,lots of pictures on my myspace page,check em out.NEWS UPDATE:My generous employer C N Brown co.in their all knowing wisdom decided to reward me for my 4 years of faithfull service with a boot to the ass to get the fuck out.FIRED! Bastids!so that happened on 8/16 and im lookin for work now in a dead economy,sky high heating oil prices ($3.89 a gallon last i knew)And a pickup truck w/an exaust leak and sticker expired since march.I bit the bullet with the wife and told her I may have to take an OTR job to get the same money i was getting so applied at HARTT out of bangor,Downloaded the app and sent it in last week,buck seventy nine to mail it,ouch!been a full week and havent heard anything.In todays paper,VIP auto parts had an add for a cdl a driver so did that app online this am.Will keep lookin at your blog.RICH
