Where Am I? Well, I’m off an running again… this time I’ve got the Bowdoin Women’s BBall team in Amherst, MA. We came down late yesterday afternoon, evening… right into snow and rain and shit. Meanwhile, back home it’s warm(er) and raining… gotta love having to go SOUTH for winter weather! LOL But’s it’s all good for me, I REALLY don’t mind, they can keep this shit down south as far as I’m concerned!
They’re at practice right now… then we’re heading back to the hotel so they can check out and eat lunch, so we can come back for a 1400hrs game. A game in which if they win, we stay another night… if they lose, then we’re North-bound headed for home.
Speaking of home… my sweetie texted me a little while ago saying we have power back! Whoo Hooo! I despise CMP with every fiber of my guts, but I have to tip my hat to those line-workers and any from out of state that came to help.
I know yesterday (before work) when we all went out breakfast, the major road into town (Route 24) was blocked by this huge-ass tree that had come down across the road (and across the wires) making for a huge mess… apparently they got that cleared / cleaned up overnight and re-ran the lines.
That’s about all for now… we’ll have to wait and see if we head home tonight, or stay for another day until later… it’s a toss-up for me… it’d be nice to be back home with my sweetie (and power!)… but at the same time right now I could use the hours and the per diem ain’t too shabby neither! 😀

Where Am I? Been a very long time dear avid reader… too long I’m sure! Do you even check this anymore… you’ve probably given up on the adventure of the GeekTrucker, but alas I shall post some more adventures in case you have a morbid curiosity!
To sum up since the last post I made… I worked camp runs and such, then cruise ships in Bar Harbor a lot… until November. Then the bus thing dropped dead. And I do mean dead… not a single thing between November 20th or so and last week! Been a tough long winter… but alas, things are starting to pick back up.
Had a run day before yesterday… picked up a load of Brits (teenage boys from an all boys school south of London) in Lincoln, NH. We stopped in Tilton, NH for an hour or so to let them hit the outlets…then down to Boston. We stayed at the Midtown Hotel in Boston… DIVE to say the least! TINY rooms would be another good adjective! Toured them Boston all day yesterday, Fenway, Faneuil Hall, USS Constitution before dumping them off at the airport and heading north.
Today I’ve got a load of Bates woman’s basketball that are at Williams College in Williamstown, MA for the night. Getting back late tomorrow night after the game…
Sunday I have to pick up a load of Bates athletes at the Portland Jetport and bring them back to Lewiston… late arrival / drop-off.
That’s about all for now dear avid reader… I’ll try and be more regular about posting…even if a day later.

Got in late last night… this is what was left of the bus:
That was JUST a couple HOURS worth of trash… EVERY time we stopped, the kids would bag up all the trash on the bus…usually three or four medium-sized kitchen trash bags worth!
To get your dog to shit, whack him with a hockey stick?
Anyways… I have a camp run to do this afternoon… picking up at Portland Jetport taking them to Casco… nice easy run… have the type of run (Camp Run) tomorrow… two of them actually… back to back.
No rest for the road weary I guess!
