And he’s down for the count! 2218hrs

Well, we made it as far as Knoxville, TN this evening… decided to stop for some dinner.. had a pretty good steak dinner…and some darn good coffee!

My instructor said he wanted to take a combat nap before we tried to make it to Nashville (a couple hundred miles away) before we bedded down for the night. After about an hour he woke up to take some more cold medicine and said I might as well bed down as we weren’t going anywhere. He sounds horrendous and is obviously in the throws of this cold. I feel bad for him. The good thing is that I had bought a case of bottled water when I last hit Walmart, which I offered to him as much as he needs… hopefully with some cold meds and plenty of water and sleep he’ll get over this soon and we can roll on normally.
That’s about it for now… I’m heading off to bed myself and we’ll see how he is in the morning… I’m hoping we don’t have to repower this load tomorrow and be stuck here all day…but I certainly understand if he doesn’t feel like sitting the shot-gun seat all day dealing with MY gear-grinding! LOL
