Rolla, MO – 1554hrs

Posted by admin on Sep 10, 2008 in Where Am I? |

Sitting at a Love’s truckstop at X189 on I44 EB.  I’ve driven all 100 or so miles from Springfield, heading to Kentucky.  We’ve holed up here for a couple of hours so that when we hit St. Louis about two hours away, it’s around 1900hrs and rush hour traffic should have passed some!  Yippee for me!

Had two good “pucker-factor” moments… one was during a construction zone where they took the highway down to one lane, then pushed us over onto the WB side…OVER THE FRIGGIN BRIDGE!!

Second time was actually worse… getting off the highway and getting this thing woahed up for the light.  My downshifting sucks!  Oh well…that’ll come in time.

Other than that…pretty uneventful… my upshifting is okay…driving’s not bad!
