Rolling right along… – 0253hrs
Well… we got out of the yard yesterday around 8pm (local) with a load heading to Corinne, UT. My instructor… err excuse me, he’s now my TEAM-MATE… hit the bunkand let me take the first “shift”… I made it until around 11 last night. He got up first thing this morning early and started running, I climbed into the bottom bunk and kept right on sleeping!!
So, I took over around 11:30 (truck time which is Central Time) and drove until around Midnight truck-time where Charles took over again. We’re now WB on I80 just passing Rock Springs, Wyoming heading for Salt Lake City, Utah… we’re hoping to get to our small yard there to do a drop and hook and head towards the East coast. Prime likes to run teams coast to coast as they can run basically 24/7 so loads get there quicker… and now that we’re a team! Anyways… MY turn to hit the bunk for a bit!
Oh yeah… passed the Continental Divide today… saw more beef cows than I could shake a stick at… and saw some really beautiful scenery along the way… until the sun went down!
